Tasting of three wines from the winery Can Fumat in the Finca Sa Quarterada of Binissalem and screening of the film Sideways, directed by Alexander Payne.
Synopsis: Milles Raymond (Paul Giamatti) is a divorced bachelor, an unpublished writer and a depressed eighth grade English teacher. He takes his soon-to-be married actor friend Jack (Thomas Haden Church) on a road trip through the California wine country to celebrate his upcoming wedding. Milles wants to spend the days enjoying good wine and food, playing golf and appreciating the landscape. Jack is more interested in having some fun in his last week of freedom before the wedding.
Once in wine country, they meet Maya (Virginia Madsen), a waitress at Milles’ favorite restaurant, and Stephanie (Sandra Oh), a winery employee, who happens to be Maya’s friend. Neither of them reveals to the two women that Jack’s wedding is coming up.
The entrance ticket entitles you to three wine tastings and the film screening. Additional tastings can be purchased at the venue.
